| 1a. Objective [top] |
| |
| The gcss-af.com website has been designed to facilitate communication, process execution, problem resolution, education, and information availability for the many geographically dispersed
integration communities . The website also provides a base for the entire GCSS-AF community, and through direct customer feedback via discussion forums, change requests, and customer surveys,
the site should be continuously improved and refined. General Functionality currently includes action tracking, change request collection and primary evaluation, information sharing, and threaded discussions.
A good place to start is the Getting Started section of the site found from the top menu Info Center -- Getting Started
|
| |
| 1b. Intent [top] |
| |
| The gcss-af.com website is intended to provide a hub for the eSupport needs of the entire GCSS-AF program.
Though the site currently targets Integrators as a primary customer, the intent is to provide GCSS-AF application developers, GCSS-AF application users, new and prospective GCSS-AF team members, Air Force members in general, and GCSS-AF subcontractors and vendors
with a wealth of current information, process improvement tools, and communicative tools that meet their needs for the GCSS-AF program.

Group membership gives users access to site tools and information (lessons learned, documents, workplans). An authenticated user (a person who has site membership and has "logged in") will belong to 1-n groups as either a member or and administrator. Users can view which groups they belong to in 3 places on the site:
- Home Page -- On the bottom of the left hand nav is a list of groups ("Group Membership") and a link to the details for that group (actions, documents, lessons learned).
- Groups Admin -- Located from the top menu Support -- Groups. This page gives the ability to request access to a group for users or manage a group for administrators.
- Member Profile -- Located from the top menu Support -- Modify Profile. This page gives the ability to view the groups ("Joined Groups") to which you belong.
|
| Visitor : Any individual visiting the site who has not "logged in" and doesn't belong to any site groups. |
| |
Group Administrator: The person responsible for overseeing website processes facilitated by the website for a particular Group. These process currently include:

| |
